Rare Form | Testimonials Donna, Amazing! Incredible! Outstanding! Fatastic! Wow! Those are just some of the words our guests used when talking about Rare Form’s performance at our wedding on November 3rd. We knew they were great having seen them at the Burlington Wedding Expo and on-line. But to see them in action was unbelievable. They had our guests up and dancing even before the first course was served. The dance floor was packed the entire night. At one point, we even felt the floor bouncing beneath us. It was incredible. Every song sounded exactly like the original and they even wowed us by playing Alanis Morissette’s ‘Thank You’ for our last song (that song is very meaningful to us so we really wanted to hear it at the wedding). We expected them to play the CD since it wasn’t on the song list, but instead, they performed it live. It was a wonderful way to end the perfect day. We’ve heard that the food and the music can either make or break a wedding. Those are the two things that people remember forever. The food was good but we know the 136 guests at our wedding will remember this day forever because they had such a great time, with many thanks to Rare Form. They were nothing short of awesome – fun, professional and simply perfect! Please extend our appreciation to the entire band. From everyone at our wedding, especially our families, THANK YOU! I cannot tell you how much I LOVED THE BAND RARE FORM. They are fantastic - that is an understatement. They blew me - and everyone else - out of the ballpark - exceeded every of my greatest expectations and then some. A tip is on the way and I told Gigi to tell that to everyone - my Dad ran out of checks (poor guy!) and we were just not prepared on the tipping front (i.e. cash on hand), but they were so exceptionally fantastic that there is not a chance in h*** that we wouldn't supplement the fee - so it's on it's way shortly :) You have been awesome to work with. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I will reccomend this band to everyone I know - i want to have another party just so I can see them all again and dance my tush off with them! It was like having Norah Jones, Louis Armstrong, the Bangles, Madonna, U2, Rolling Stones, and so much more on the stage. The band was fantastic! We were so thrilled with their performance and music selection. All of our guests have raved about how amazing the band was that night. They certainly helped to make our reception a memorable and enjoyable evening. I noticed that the band mentioned they were playing “Sugar Pie Honey Bunch” for the first time that evening. I had added it to my request list not knowing if it was one that the band knew. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that they learned it for that evening. And I thought it sounded great! We have finally settled in a little and are back from Greece and I had to just let you know what an amazing time we had at our wedding. THE BAND WAS AMAZING!!!!! I'm sure you hear this all of the time, but BRAVO! What a night. And while we were at the reception not only were two other couples there that we knew had used Rare Form at their weddings, but two other couples came up to us to say that they had used Rare Form as well, we are now all groupies!!! We can't tell you how happy we were to have our wedding on a night that you were available to perform for us. We heard that you were good but Rare Form Band exceeded it's own reputation. Our guests could not stop talking about how "awesome" the band sounded and what great stage presence the members had. Every song that was performed was on point with the original artist. From the drums to the horns to the keyboard & guitars - you all looked like you were having a good time and not playing some of the same songs you have played in the past. You used our list of favorite songs and put together such fun sets - the energy could be felt throughout the room. The Vocalists - I can not begin to say how impressive you are - Everyone marveled at Mike & Gigi vocal talents. Gigi's incredible rendition of "When you Know" which was our First Dance, made Alison and I forget ou! r nervo usness and just enjoy each other in the spotlight. Now when we hear your voice on the radio, we just smile knowing that you also sang at our wedding. Mike, your ability to perform several different styles was not lost on our guests, a few of them asked me "how many voices does this guy have". My response - "I don't know, but they are all amazing." The night itself is a blur because it was a whirlwind of events for us, being the Bride & Groom, but here is what sticks out in our minds: Everyone had such a fantastic time and Rare Form Band was an instrumental piece of that. Thanks you so much Steve, you kept everything under control by checking in with us and made us feel comfortable by fulfilling every request we had but especially by keeping the celebration going. Thank you to Donna too, we love the way Rare Form does business. We have already given your information out to other pe! ople we know would love to utilize your services. Alison & I know for a fact that when we talk about the highligts of our wedding & reception, Rare Form Band is at the top of our list - YOU ARE EXCEPTIONAL.
