August 2 , 2008- wedding - Hilton Woburn

...Had everyone on the dance floor from start to finish. Even my 86 year old great aunt who I have NEVER seen dancing! We had them stay late and people kept dancing, when the band broke down their equipment with a CD playing in the background people kept dancing!

...People are still talking about how great the music was. These range from my friends (late 20's to mid 30's) to my parent's friends (late 50's to late 60's). They managed to please everyone with every song they played.

...We had been at a wedding in 2005 where Radiance had played (Wilkinson/Fernquist wedding) and a 2004 wedding where Beantown had played (O'Connor/Mulvihill wedding) so Wilson Steven's was our top choice for entertainment from the very beginning. We were so pleased to have such a great band play our event to make it as great a party as those two weddings. Many of our guests have commented that they have never been to a wedding with such great music and with so many people dancing - that was our goal - to throw a great party - thanks for helping in the music department! They did a great job of getting our guests up and dancing and keeping them up and dancing!

I don't think there was anyone at the wedding who did not comment on how amazing Radiance was. Comments included, "I can't believe they are a WEDDING band." "If I close my eyes, I swear it is the actual artist playing the song!" "They actually look like they are having fun!" "My sister is choosing between a few bands for her wedding and I am going to tell her how great Radiance is!" I agree with all of them. They were better than I ever could have imagined and really made our wedding amazing.

You came, you play, you leave! But, I want you to know that on one hot and humid night on July 19th,2008 you and your band made an impression on 185 people that will last a lifetime! One of the best decisions we made was to have RADIANCE play for us. Your professionalism was without peer. It was the first wedding where every person was on the dance floor. Quite frankly, one of the best bands - wedding or otherwise - that I have ever heard. Our entire wedding party of 150 was on the dance floor the entire night and people continuously raved about the music.

We attend 10 - 15 weddings/year and checked out more then 30 bands through our search for the perfect mix of fun, energetic and quality. Radiance met all of our criteria and more. We were blown away by there energy and charisma. It felt like they were one of the guests and were having as much, if not more, fun then we were! For a perfect night hire Radiance!

Excellent! ...is not a big enough word. Everything was more than perfect from beginning to end. There was not a single guest whose feet were not killing them the next day from dancing non-stop all night.

We've already e-mailed frinds planning a summer of '09 wedding with our band recommendation. We have two more daughters planning weddings in the future and will try our best to have Radiance again. Thanks so much for everything

...wanted to let you know that RADIANCE was outstanding at Rachel and Matt's wedding saturday night...the wedding was one grand party and the band was a major factor in making it so! when i looked around the room, almost all of our guests were dancing, and we were not all young!!! in all the confusion of ending, i didn't get a chance to thank them all personally and i tried to find a way to do so on their website but couldn't, so could you please do that for me?

May 25 , 2008 - wedding - Seaport Hotel at WTC

Hi Sal,

Just wanted to let you know that Radiance did a great job on Sunday
night at the Kalowski / Shorett wedding. You really got the crowd up
and dancing! The pacing was really perfect -- the band got funkier as
the night went on. It was great seeing all the young people up and
partying at the end of the night. The oldsters did OK, too!
Particularly thoughtful was using the vocalist and one instrument for
quiet, live music while guests ate their entrees. It allowed talking
(which often is not possible at functions) and was a nice touch. We
think the crowd fed off of your energy and you fed off of theirs!
Many of our guests remarked about how much they liked the band, the
music...

We would be happy to serve as a reference.

Dear Kathy,

We wanted to send a quick note in addition to your survey to let you know how wonderful Radiance was. From my first call to Justin in the office to the very last song played at our wedding - we were impressed with the quality and professionalism of Wilson Stevens Productions and the band Radiance.

Of all the choices that we made - Radiance was by far the best! I remember being in the bridal suite prior to our entrance into the reception and getting excited because I could already hear how great the band was! Sal Difusco was not only a great emcee, but was very friendly to work with in advance of our wedding. I am still raving about how great they were every chance I get.

Guests from our wedding are still commenting on how amazing the band was, even two months later. I hope to be able to send some additional business along to Radiance, not that I think they will need it! I can honestly say that there is nothing I would change about their performance or our decision to use Wilson Stevens Productions and the band Radiance for our wedding. I will be eagerly looking for reasons to call you all again soon as we would love an encore!

Dear Wilson Stevens Productions,

I wanted to write to tell you how absolutely fantastic Radiance was at our wedding on November 17th. We couldn't have asked for anything more! The band had played at our friends wedding two years ago and we remembered how wonderful they were and how much they drew the crowd to the dance floor. When it came time for us to look into bands we knew that we just had to have them. Honestly, we both remembered them being great, but we were still blown away on our wedding day!

One of the most important things for our wedding day was having a great band- one of the few things we agreed on! And we definitely got what we asked for, even more! Some of our friends are huge DJ enthusiasts and Radiance had them amazed at how fantastic a band could sound. They couldn't get over how much they sounded like the real artists. One of our Aunts even made the comment that she wondered if they would be willing to play at her daughter's wedding in New York- and she isn't even engaged yet!

Radiance played an integral past in making our wedding day perfect and everything that we had hoped it would be. We keep hearing from guests that our wedding was one of the most fun weddings they had been to in a while and we believe that the band truly made the difference and we can't thank them enough.

Hi Sal,

What can I say? People are calling me all day long about the great music. I have never been at a wedding where everyone was up the whole night dancing like they were at my daughter's wedding. Several of the kids friends came up at the end of the night and said couldn't we get you to stay an extra hour. I told them we already had you an extra half hour and would certainly consider keeping you extra, but we had to be out of the reception at 11:00. All of the performers were so professional. I cannot think of enough superlatives to describe how happy my husband and I were with your performance. I hope Jim and I have another occasion where we can use RADIANCE again. Please tell everyone how much we loved them.

Dear Radiance,

Thank you so much for your phenomenal performance on our wedding day on September 1, 2007. Last year you played at my sister's wedding and we thought you were outstanding. You were so good that we thought there is no way you could top that... well, you did. You definitely outdid yourselves with your seemless performance. We could not have asked for a better music selection for my wedding. You played songs that appealed to all age groups, and you followed our "please play" and our "do not play" lists to a tee. The dance floor was packed at all times; we are so glad we extended our contract with you for an additional half hour because the guests were dancing and having a blast all night long.

Sal, you were so accommodating with all of our special requests. It means a lot to us that you and the band learned our wedding song, that you played the Italian "Tarantella", that you played "Billy Jean" upon Mike's special request (for his dance), and that you let Mike and his groomsmen sing and play with the band to "Johnny B. Goode." One band member even let a groomsmen wear his sunglasses. That was a riot!

Sal, you did a perfect job emceeing our wedding. You pronounced every one of the names of the people in our wedding party flawlessly. (And with an Italian family like mine, some of the names can be tricky.)

Since the night of the wedding, we cannot begin to tell you how many times we have heard from our guests- "This band is the band band we have ever heard!"- because we lost count. All of our family members and friends keep commenting on how great of a band you are. Everyone loved you guys! Even our function coordinator at Butternut commented to us at the end of the evening that she plans on recommending you to all of her future brides. She has never heard a band as good as yours.

The music at a wedding is what makes it so much fun. So many people have said, "This was the best wedding we have ever been to!" Thank you for making our wedding night a blast. We had the time of our lives!

We highly recommend Radiance! You guys are outstanding. We plan to recommend you to all of our friends for their future weddings. My family already plans on hiring you for my younger sister's wedding, and she's not even engaged yet!

We highly recommend WSP also! They were great to work with. We were so impressed with al of their employees. Kathy was always available to answer all of out questions in a timely and efficient manner. There were even times we called WSP and a band member from other bands other than Radiance answered the phone; these individuals never hesitated to help us with whatever we needed. Everyone was always so accommodating. This is a great organization and we are so happy to have had you be a part of our special day.

What a party!

I Just wanted to thank you and the other members of Radiance for the great entertainment provided at my daughter's wedding last Saturday. I have always maintained that it is the band what makes or breaks a wedding. Radiance certainly MADE this wedding.

Everyone in your group was highly energized and truly "into it". That energy spilled over to our guests to make for a fun-filled evening. Other than the father/daughter dance, the highlight of the evening for me was when you allowed Bethany and Tim the opportunity to "perform" Jon Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer". I felt like I was back in my younger days at a rock concert.
Thank you for letting the kids take over the microphones for that song.

Dear Wilson Stevens Productions,

I would like to begin by apologizing for the delay in responding to your "performance questionnaire". Although we did not honeymoon for long after our wedding, we have both been extremely busy and have been truant in responding to several of the vendors used for our wedding on October 14, 2006. That being said, we both felt strongly about writing a personalized letter to thank you for your contribution to our wedding in conjunction with completing your survey.

To begin, both Stacey and I were extremely impressed by, and pleased with, our dealings with Wilson Stevens Productions as a management company. Your method of allowing prospective clients to attend band practice at an intimate but informal location was a revolutionary idea in our opinion. It truly made seeing all of your bands, not only Radiance, a welcoming and exciting experience. In addition, the timely and professional response to our emails and phone calls was highly appreciated, especially as the date of the event approached. We were increasingly overwhelmed by the entire planning process, and you were able to quickly put to rest any apprehensions or concerns we had about the facilitation of the event during that stressful time. For that we thank you.

For Radiance's part in making our wedding the most unbelievable day for not only Stacey and I, but also for our guests, it is difficult to find the words to describe how fantastic they were both personally and as performers. The speaker arrangement for our outdoor ceremony was wonderful. We had an acoustic singer who sounded beautiful thanks in large part to your efforts, and our guests were highly impressed that they could hear the entire ceremony clearly. More importantly, however, the band itself was exceptional. they were by far the best live band of their ilk I have ever seen perform. The energy they brought with them to the stage was matched only by their obvious enjoyment of performing for a crowd. From start to finish, inclusive of announcing our bridal party and managing the timing of the music for the entire event, the whole of Radiance were consummate professionals. We simply cannot say enough great things about the band and can not begin to thank them for making our wedding the perfect event. Both Stacey and I agree that our favorite part of the evening was the band, and we could not be happier now that we chose Radiance. Although, we do not wish to play favorites as we truly loved everyone who performed, we would like to extend a special thank you to Sal DiFusco for all of his help in preparing for the event, and for getting a great effort from Radiance at the wedding. The band truly made the difference for Stacey, me, and our guests. One guest told me the week following the wedding that they had never seen so many people have such an amazing time. A huge part of the "amazing time" was Radiance and their amazing performance, and for that we are eternally grateful.
