What you may not know is that Lindsey was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis in her knee when she was 7. With all of her strength and perseverance she has been able to conquer this disease and it brought such joy to us to watch her on the dance floor with her friends the WHOLE NIGHT!!! Friends and family could not stop raving about the band. It was hard to keep track of how many times we were told, “That was the best band I have ever heard at a wedding!” Prior to the wedding day, we worked closely with band vocalist, Penni Layne to ensure all our musical needs were met. In a courteous and prompt manner, she ironed out all the particulars of the night such as which “special dance” songs to play and when. We were very impressed that Eye 2 Eye was even kind enough to learn our “First Dance Song” which was not on their play list! During the wedding reception, the band just flat out rocked. I'm sorry that it has taken me so long to get focused to sit down and write a testimonial letter for you following our June 30th wedding. I must tell you that our wedding was probably the best party I've ever been to, and it single handedly due to Eye2Eye. They were incredible, absolutely fantastic. They are worth all of the money we paid for them and MORE! They made our event. I am attaching a testimonial letter that you should feel free to use at your convenience. Not only are these the most appropriate words to describe our event, but they are the four most popular words I have heard from my guests following our June 30th wedding. (And I don't think it has anything to do with the fact that they cannot get the words to the song out of their head, considering we asked the band to play it three times during our reception). I don't even know where to begin to thank you and EYE 2 EYE for all they did to help make our wedding the most unforgettable night of our lives, as well as the lives of the 300 guests in attendance. From the moment the band took the stage it was electric, and the momentum continued through to the last song of the evening. The band captured the hearts of our guests and they did not let them go for the entire 5 hours that evening. From the very first note, the dance floor was filled to capacity, and that is saying a lot since we had an extra large dance floor built for the reception. The band played everything that we asked and more. They read the audience extremely well and they were able to adapt the music selections accordingly. A highlight of the evening was when our 7-year old flower girl took to the dance floor and was doing a dance that only a 7-year old could do. The band turned her dance into the latest craze and the entire dance floor was doing "the Audrey" by the end of the night. Eye 2 Eye is THE band that we will recommend to our friends and business colleagues. We seriously cannot wait until the next opportunity we have to hire them again. While we would like to believe that we thought of and planned for all of the fun at our wedding, we know we could not have pulled it off without Eye 2 Eye. We could on for days about the band, an we continue to tell stories of their awe-inspiring talent. We recently had them perform at our wedding reception at the New Seabury Country Club, and it was a huge success! My husband and I had a lot of negotiating with our family to hire the band, due to their large expense. It was the one item at the wedding we really wanted to splurge on, and landed up not offering an open bar all evening in lieu of the band. What a great decision! The band was so good, that people stopped drinking once the dancing started, and they didn't even notice it was an open bar. From the moment they began, to the time they ended, Eye 2 Eye put on a great show. People were dancing before dinner was even served! They were meant to take a 15 minute break at some point during the evening, but it was not even noticed. They transitioned from live music to a CD for about 10 minutes, yet 2 of the band members stayed on stage the whole time and it wasn't even obvious. The songs they sang were great, and the quality of the music was top notch. For those at the reception who did not want to dance (which there were very few of), they had fun just sitting and watching the band put on a show. Eye 2 Eye definitely made the night. And one of the nice parts was, all of the band members looked like they were enjoying themselves just as much as the guests! Everyone we have spoken to about the wedding has praised us on the wonderful party, and almost all of them have highlighted the band as the best part of the night. We would never have gotten as many people on the dance floor if it had just been a DJ. We have already had to promise friends that we will hire Eye 2 Eye again for our 10 year anniversary, and my boss is already looking into having the play at my company's holiday party this year! We had Eye 2 Eye play at both our daughters' Bat Mitzvahs, in May 2003, and May 2006. The band was a pleasure at work with both before and during the event. All of our requests were met, and the affairs went smoothly. The atmosphere in the room when they played was exciting. There was no time that I noticed the dance floor even close to empty. They play with energy and fun that makes everyone in the room want to get up and dance. Both the kids and the adults were able to have fun, as opposed to many affairs that I have attended with a D.J. that only caters to kids. They made both my daughters' Bat Mitzvah's very special. I would highly recommend Eye 2 Eye, and Wilson Stevens who the process of hiring the band an easy one. Very truly yours, Rosalie Miller Holiday banquet- Jan. 28 , 2006 for Mass General Hspital Dear Wilson Stevens Productions, On Saturday, January 28th, 2006, Eye 2 Eye performed at the Massachusetts General Hospital Holiday party at the Boston Marriot Cambridge. The band was phenomenal! In past years the department has always opted for a disc jockey. Eye 2 Eye was a welcomed and needed change to update our holiday festivities. Members of the MGH department and the staff at the Boston Marriot Cambridge continuously remarked on the professionalism of the band. Eye 2 Eye was exceptional! The band had the entire department dancing. Moreover, the band's seamless break schedule assured the fun on the dance floor would not stop. Additionally, the band did not painfully self-promote. Eye 2 Eye's enthusiasm and quality performance was the best advertisement. The department of Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital looks forward to enlisting the services of Eye 2 Eye for our future holiday functions. Thank you for making our event memorable!
